AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By ordering from our site, you accept all terms described below, including our Privacy Statement.

 

Dropboxes Terms

 
  • Using a dropbox is a service offered to our customers to make the sending/picking up process easier. It is a cheaper and more convenient way to send us your items and receive them back. There is a risk of losing your shoes/skis, either in the mail, the dropbox venue staff can lose them or they can be stolen. Arctic Soles will not replace items lost, stolen or damaged outside of our workshop.
  • When using a dropbox turnaround time is not guaranteed and can take longer than stated on the website due to possible sending delays out of the control of Arctic Soles.
  • By using the dropboxes you accept these risks.

 

Shoe Repair Terms

 
  • When sending off shoes to Arctic Soles for repair, and the package gets lost in the mail, Arctic Soles do not cover the expenses of the lost pair of shoes, we will return the repair cost.
  • When ordering a shoe repair, including all of our shoe repair services, turnaround time is not guaranteed and only an estimate. Due to holidays, sickness or lack of staff, Arctic Soles reserves the right to go beyond the time of this estimate.
  • When the customer sends their shoes to Arctic Soles for repair, and the shoe is too damaged and beyond repair, the shoes will not be returned unless requested. A notification about this will be given. A full refund of the resoling fee and return shipping fee will be given.
  • If Arctic Soles accidentally damage your shoes during repair, we will replace them with a new pair of shoes by the same brand and same model, but not refund the repair cost and posting fee.

 

Ski repairs

 
  • When sending off skis or boards to Arctic Soles for repair, and the package gets lost in the mail, Arctic Soles do not cover the expenses of the lost equipment, nor do we return the repair cost.
  • When ordering a ski/board repair, including all of our ski/board repair services, turnaround time is not guaranteed and only an estimate. Due to holidays, sickness or lack of staff, Arctic Soles reserves the right to go beyond the time of this estimate.
  • When the customer sends their skis/boards to Arctic Soles for repair, and the ski is too damaged and beyond repair, the skis will not be returned unless requested. A notification about this will be given. A full refund of the repairing fee and return shipping fee will be given.
  • If Arctic Soles accidentally damage your skis or snowboard beyond repair, we will replace them with a new set by the same brand and same model, but not refund the repair cost and posting fee.

 Price changes

Arctic Soles reserves the right to change prices. Prices at the time of placing an order are valid throughout the buying process. 

*At times where software or human errors for instance list products with an obvious faulty price, Arctic Soles AS reserves the rights to cancel the order – notifications will be given.

 

Change of product assortment

Arctic Soles reserves the right to change its turnaround time and availability on the site and to remove items from the product range before a purchase has been registered.

 

Product information

We do our best to make sure that all of the content on our site is correct. However, as we are only human, we reserve the right that unintentional errors may occur. Colours on your computer screen are not always 100 % accurate.

 

Under 18 years old?

If you are under the age of 18, your parents’ or guardians’ consent is required to make purchases in this webshop.

 

Damage during transportation

If the package and/or the content is damaged upon arrival, please report it to the courier upon delivery. Arctic Soles will not be held responsible for damages or loss involved with shipping.

 

Shipping

We will ship your order or drop it off at our local dropbox, as soon as we can after repairing your item. The turnaround time can depend a bit on the complexity of your shoe/ski, but with most orders shipment should happen within a few days after the product is repaired.

This site, or any portion of it may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the expressed written consent of Arctic Soles AS.

 

Your privacy

The Arctic Soles privacy statement is designed to demonstrate our commitment to privacy. We respect your privacy. Any personal information that you provide is used for the purpose of giving you the best possible information and service. In our order form we ask you to give us certain contact information, which is needed to send/reply to the information you requested. We also ask for other information, much of which is optional. Please don’t tell us things you don’t want us to know. Arctic Soles uses this information to better understand its consumer base in order to provide superior service.

 

Non-disclosure to third parties

Unless we have your expressed consent, we will not disclose your personal information to any third parties. We will not sell, rent or trade your personal information to others for marketing purposes without your expressed consent. We may collect statistics regarding the use of our webshop, such as traffic patterns and related site information, but this information will not include any personal identifying information.

 

Security of your information

We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us. This is to prevent unauthorised access or unlawful processing of your personal information.

 

Email

Arctic Soles will only send you emails if you ask for more information or for a review on how the service went. We might also use your email address to confirm your order/request and to respond to any inquiries you make online. We will not pester you if you don’t ask for more information!

 

Children’s policy

If you are under 18, you may use our webshop only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we will not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, you cannot register or give us any personal information. Please have your parents contact us to enter this information.

By using our website you consent that we may collect and use your personal information in the manner set out in this privacy policy. Any changes to our privacy policy will be posted on this site.
